FreeSurfer Registration

A registration key, taking the form of a .license key file, must be obtained to make the FreeSurfer tools operational.

Registration is free. [http://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/registration.html Follow this link] to obtain a license key that enables your copy of Freesurfer.

Once you obtain the .license key file, copy it to your [wiki:Download FreeSurfer installation directory] (defined by the $FREESURFER_HOME environment variable).
